Head Pan

What it is

A head pan is a wide, shallow metal or plastic bowl, traditionally carried on the head, used to move mortar, sand, stones and other building materials by hand.

Typical uses

It is used on construction sites, in gardens and on farms to carry small loads of material short distances where a barrow cannot go, and for mixing small batches.

When you enquire

Tell us the size you prefer and whether you want a metal or plastic pan.

Care and handling

Empty and wash it after each use so mortar or cement does not harden inside. Do not overfill it, check the rim and any handles for cracks, and pad your head or use a shoulder pad when carrying heavy loads.

Head Pan is one of 46 items in our agricultural supplies range. Others in the same range include Hoe, Wooden Float, Crow Bar.
