Crow Bar
What it is
A crow bar is a long, heavy steel bar with one end bent and flattened for prying, and often a pointed end for digging. Leverage lets one person lift or move heavy objects.
Typical uses
It is used to lift stones, pull out fence posts, pry boards and nails, open crates and break up hard ground.

Care and handling
Keep the working ends free of chips and mushrooming, and wipe the bar dry and lightly oil it to stop rust. Set a firm footing before prying, keep hands clear of pinch points, and use a block under the bar to protect surfaces.
