Pruning Saw
What it is
A pruning saw has a narrow, curved or straight blade with aggressive teeth, built to cut through living branches quickly. Many are foldable so they can be carried safely.
Typical uses
It is used to remove branches too thick for shears, to shape fruit trees and to cut back ornamental trees, leaving a clean wound that heals well.

Care and handling
Clean sap off the blade with a little solvent or soapy water and disinfect it between diseased and healthy trees. Lock a folding blade securely before cutting, keep the teeth sharp and store it closed and dry.
