Skid Sprayer
What it is
A skid sprayer is a spraying unit mounted on a frame, or skid, that is placed on a truck, trailer or vehicle. It typically has a tank, a pump and a hose or boom for spraying.
Typical uses
It is used to apply water, pesticide, herbicide or liquid fertiliser over orchards, fields and large gardens, and to wash down equipment, without carrying a backpack sprayer.

Care and handling
Flush the tank, pump and hose with clean water after every job, especially after chemicals, and drain the system before frost. Fit the strainer, secure the skid firmly to the vehicle, and wear protective clothing when spraying.
