Universal Spreader for Delivering Fertiliser
What it is
A universal fertiliser spreader is a hopper on wheels that releases granular fertiliser, seed or salt through an adjustable opening as it is pushed along, casting the material over a wide strip.
Typical uses
It is used on lawns, pasture and small fields to apply fertiliser or overseed evenly, avoiding the patchy results of throwing by hand.
When you enquire
Tell us the area to be covered and the material you plan to spread, and whether you prefer a push or a towed model.
Care and handling
Wash the hopper and spreading plate with clean water after use, because fertiliser salts corrode metal. Dry it fully, check the opening setting before each job, and wear gloves and a mask when handling fertiliser.
