Surface Vibrator
What it is
A surface vibrator sits on top of poured concrete and vibrates the surface layer while it is guided across the slab, settling the mix and drawing fine material upward for a smooth finish.
Typical uses
It is used on floors, slabs, driveways and bridge decks, where the concrete is a shallow, wide layer that a needle would not compact well.

Care and handling
Clean the base plate of wet concrete straight after use and check it stays flat. Keep the motor and cable dry, avoid dragging it by the cable, and inspect the handle mountings for cracks from vibration.
