Dewatering Pump
What it is
A dewatering pump is built to move large volumes of water out of an unwanted place, including water that carries some dirt or sand. It is typically portable, with a hose connection for the outlet.
Typical uses
It is used to empty flooded trenches, foundations, ponds and tanks, to drain fields after heavy rain and to transfer water between storage points on a farm or building site.
When you enquire
Tell us the volume you need to clear, the height the water must be lifted and how clean or dirty the water is.
Care and handling
Place it on firm ground and use a strainer on the inlet so stones and debris do not damage it. Do not run it dry, flush it with clean water after muddy jobs, and drain fuel or clear the cable route before storing.
